Title: Chief Strategy & Investment Officer (CSIO)
Reports to: Chairman & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Locations: Dallas, TX

Notes:
The ideal candidate is a commercially-minded executive who has actually executed transactions, raised infrastructure capital, built strategic partnerships, and helped scale businesses through acquisitions and investments. Someone equally comfortable in the boardroom, negotiating with institutional investors, and evaluating new growth opportunities. Executive presence, strong financial acumen, and proven deal experience will be critical for success.

This executive will serve as one of the company's primary strategic leaders responsible for enterprise growth, capital deployment, corporate development, infrastructure investments, and institutional investor relationships. The CSIO will work alongside the CEO, CFO, COO, and Board to shape company’s long-term growth strategy while leading strategic transactions, project finance initiatives, joint ventures, and M&A activity across North America.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead enterprise-wide corporate strategy and long-term growth initiatives
  • Develop and execute infrastructure financing strategies including project finance, tax equity, green bonds, project debt, and infrastructure private equity
  • Lead full-cycle M&A including financial modeling, underwriting, due diligence, negotiations, and acquisitions
  • Oversee strategic joint ventures and partnerships
  • Develop institutional capital relationships with infrastructure funds, private equity, strategic investors, and investment banks
  • Optimize RNG portfolio monetization including LCFS, RINs, carbon markets, and emerging environmental attributes
  • Evaluate expansion opportunities including carbon capture, renewable fuels, and adjacent infrastructure investments
  • Present investment recommendations and strategic initiatives to the CEO and Board of Directors
  • Partner closely with CFO, COO, Commercial, and Business Development teams on enterprise growth initiatives

Requirements:

  • 12+ years of senior leadership experience
  • Background in Infrastructure Private Equity, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Energy, or Strategy Consulting
  • Strong transaction experience with project finance, infrastructure investing, M&A, or corporate development
  • Experience underwriting and closing complex infrastructure or energy transactions
  • Executive presence with Board and institutional investor interaction
  • Experience raising capital and developing financing strategies
  • Strong financial modeling and investment analysis skills
  • MBA preferred (Top-tier program preferred)
  • Renewable Energy, RNG, Biofuels, Infrastructure, Waste-to-Energy, or Energy Transition experience strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of environmental markets (LCFS, RINs, CARB, EPA, Carbon Intensity) is a strong plus
